TSGL: Watching mini dv tapes on TV

I've tried googling a few phrases but I'm not finding what I'm looking for. Isn't there some sort of vhs sized thing that the mini dv tapes go into so you can play the mini dv tape in your vhs machine?

I just got a used camcorder that uses the mini dv tapes, and I don't want to go to the hassle of hooking the camera up to the tv if I can avoid it. I vaguely remember my mother using a similar device several years ago with an older style camcorder. Don't know if her tapes were mini dv or something else, but I know she had some sort of adapter.

So, can someone give me a url to what I'm looking for so I can google places to buy them?
