TSGL: cable troubles

Engineman,

I think I know the answer to this but . . .did you push the connectors 
in until they click. There should be a little clip that snaps (you can 
usually hear the snap) into place to hold the plug in the jack.

I have the same set up with a linksys router and have had no problems 
with my very inexpensive cables (< $10 as I remember) from Staples.
