Hi Hasanat,
Go to Start/Run/services.msc
Stop Printer Spooler service
Delete all files in C:\windows\system32\spool\printers
Re-start Spooler
Highlight job in printer software and click 'delete'
Right click job and click 'cancel'
No idea why it takes so long to delete.
Try this if it's worth it!
Greetings,
John Od/G

Subject: TSGL: How to delete a printer file
Dear All,
Occasionally, and sometimes quite often, a printer will jam, and the
printing will stop. The only thing I can do then, is to delete the file in
the printing queue, and start again. But, in every computer I have used, and
every printer, the deleting takes forever, and sometimes never. I have tried
switching off and on the printer. And often I have had to reboot to get rid
of the file and start printing again. My query is why does it take forever
to delete, and is there a quicker alternative?
Thanks to all
Hasanat
