Hi Don,
I entered...
internet explorer 6 full download
...into Google and found this:

I've done this before using similar instructions - Downloaded the full
package on my machine, burned to CD and then installed on another machine.
Be sure to run Windows update once the machine is updated, as there will
still be a few bits and pieces to patch.

IE 7 won't run on Windows 2000.
