Just a quick couple of points --
The .tib file means that you actually have an image. Which is good.
Secondly, you can always view the files and folders in the image file. And
even extract individual (or more) files and folders from it. In Acronis Home
v.10, one goes to Tools-->Explore Backup Archive for this. There ought to be
a similar menu command in version 11.

PS : When creating an image of a drive or partition, you must verify the
image file !! Just adding this point since lots of people, myself included,
have paid dearly wth corrupted archives ! During the image creation process,
you'll find this verify option available. Even the best software like
Acronis sometimes (not very often) end up creating faulty image files.
