As you indicated, you can receive and send from multiple email addresses
using Outlook Express. This can also be done with Outlook and Windows Mail
(Microsoft's replacement for OE in Vista). I'm sure that there are other
email clients that will also allow sending from more than one email address.
When I tried Eudora many years ago, I found I could not do this and that is
certainly one of the reasons I do not use Eudora today. I believe I also
found this to be a problem with the Firefox email client, and do not use it
for this reason.
I presently use Outlook 2003 which I have set up to use 7 different SMTP
servers, depending on what and to whom I am sending.

Subject: TSGL: Eudora settings
I have a friend who has 2 email addresses, one for her business and the
other for private email. I've installed Eudora 4.3, which I've used for
years.
Is there any way in which you can have alternative "from" addresses? When I
open a new outgoing email page, it doesn't seem possible to overwrite the
"from" line with an alternative email address.
Nor does the facility seem to exist for more than one address in
Options/Sending mail as far as I can see. Is it possible in later versions?
She can do it in OE.
