Hi there Russ!
Saw it all on TV here in Germany as well and just thought of asking the 
list, i.e. you or whoever else lived in California, about the places where 
it was exactly as I did not hear from a friend of mine but now I heard he 
and his wife could go back to their house on Tuesday already after spending 
some days at the Best Western hotel near their place. So I sure am shocked 
you are right in there Russ and don't even know about your house yet. Hope 
at least the reports are true that things are getting better now after the 
winds calmed down!!!
Like probably everyone else on the list I hope the best for you and your 
wife!
