Anthony,

What do you find undesirable about the webmail interface?

Cosmio's solution will work, but if you're using your local ISP's mail 
server and it's anything like mine, you'll have to delete messages a lot 
more frequently than once a month to avoid filling your allocated 
storage. If you have a really small allocation you might be forced to 
delete messages from the server more frequently than the other user 
checks for them thereby missing some messages at the second machine.
