Another flame out, only much sooner than 4 years!!

If your machine had a 340 watt supply it was probably drawing something 
less, but near that (most manufacturers don't put in THAT much safety 
margin). Your 175 watt supply is only half that. It might run for a 
while putting out somewhat more than it's rated for but that won't last 
long and when it goes down you're counting on it going down gracefully 
and not damaging anything it's connected to. Not a good bet considering 
how cheap power supplies are. Get a new one.
