TSGL: Firefox

I've recently downloaded Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and it includes Firefox 3 beta 5.
The Bookmark manager is as bad there as in version 2.

Please don't ask me any questions on Ubuntu 8.04 as I really don't know what
the heck I'm doing there. For example, I haven't yet figured out how to
install a program into the OS, and that is pretty basic. But I can say this,
the dual boot installation was easy and all the drivers that came with the
OS seem to be working. But I am having problems trying to get my bookmarks
from Windows into Ubuntu, evidently because of permissions and ownership
problems (sounds like Vista :o). I think I'm going to have to go out and
purchase "Ubuntu for Dummies".

FF has never had an exceptional bookmark manager. I've heard that some
improvements are in the works. Is anyone using the FF 3 Beta and have
there been any improvements in the bookmark manager?
