TSGL: Safe mode

I did this several times. I check Start normally and nothing else is checked 
and reboot it starts up in safe mode.  I go through the system configuration 
utility again it opens up with the check to start in safe mode again. It 
does this every time. Does any body have any ideas what is wrong and have a 
solution for this. I appreciate Your support Don. If you or any one have any 
ideas what to do I would be very grateful.
