> What should I watch out for
 
1) If the WMA files are 'protected' with 'DRM' you won't be able to convert them, as the protection will prevent them from winding up as MP3s:

2) If you want to place the MP3 in your iPod you will need to set the MP3 'tag' metadata (Title, Artist, Album, Track).  You can edit this manually in windows, or use a program like this:
