TSGL: Problems ftp-ing to my website

Hi,

recently I've used my new hosting provider and domain to prepare a place for 
uploading files. First I used my ftp-client and could do the upload to my 
site easily. Then I set up a new folder + ftp-user on the server with all 
the rights necessary. When I tried to upload a +-10 MB file through my 
browser, upload stopped close to the end, before it was finished without any 
error message. Ther was no file written to that folder ... Don't know WHAT 
exactly stopped it.

What would control for instance timeout with ftp through my browser ? Is it 
something on my PC, or a serverside setting?
Of course I'll talk to my provider, but thought I would ask you 
knowledgeable people too...
