TSGL: disk management not working

Correction......when I click on "disk management." is when the blank screen  
comes up.

When I click on in "computer management" a blank screen  comes up.

I have gone into "services" and started "logical disk  manager" and  "logical 
disk manager administrative service" as  instructed in a google  websearch 
for 
the problem but could find no  other help.

Any  ideas?
