Open Network connection, view the properties of the Local Area Connection,
on the 'Support' tab click Details and it'll be listed under 'Physical
Address'
Thanks

Subject: TSGL: MAC Address / Win2K Box
I'm doing some 'tech support via email' for a computer illiterate friend.
Can someone tell me if there's an 'easier' way to glean a computer's MAC
address than via an IPCONFIG /ALL at the command prompt? Is there any
location in the UI that gives me the MAC address for a PC without having him
go to the command prompt?
The OS is Windows 2000, fully patched.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Geoff in Vancouver
