TSGL: Vista Shutdown Question

If you have a recent computer, you can use the "Sleep"
or "power" Button on your computer (whichever your
keyboard has) to shut down the computer. But you must
go into the bios setup screen at bootup to configure
your keyboard to sleep or power down.

I set up my computer to power up by pressing any key on
the keyboard and to power down by pressing the sleep
button. My wife's computer uses her "power" button to
both turn on and turn off the computer.

It's a lot easier then the method you're using.

Different motherboards probably have different options.
