Dear Chuck,
There are two options:
1. Set the window to the size you want (maximised or some intermediate size)
and close it by holding down the Ctrl-key and left-clicking on the "X" on
the far right of the title bar. Next time you open that window it should
have remembered the size.
2. If you are opening the window by clicking on a shortcut: right click on
the shortcut, select properties; on the Shortcut tab, in the run filed
select Maximised; click apply and close the properties dialog box. This will
open the window in the maximised state.

Subject: TSGL: window size
Every time I open various windows in winXP
I have to resize them. Then, next time I go to use them,
same problem!!!!! Matters not if I maximize, or drag the corner
and make it fairly fill the screen, it does not endure.
How does one change the size permanently ???
thanx, chuck
