TSGL: Changing browsers

I obviously misunderstood your original question. Your question seemed to be
asking how to open Internet Explorer if Firefox was your default browser,
and secondarily, how to make IE your default browser.

But your answer is that IE opens in Google. Evidently, when your computer
was first set up, Google was set up as your "home" page, and IE will always
open up in Google unless you go into Internet Explorer "Properties" and to
the General tab and change the page to something else.

By the way, if you really do want to change to IE as your default browser
and it is not asking you if you wish to have it as the default browser, the
way to do this is to open Internet Explorer Properties (if you don't know
how, you will find this in the Control Panel) and go to the "Programs" tab
where you will find a way to properly do that.

But is what you really want (and I suspect that you do) is to open an IE
page if Firefox is not rendering the page correctly, is to use a Firefox
Add-on such as IE Tab. It is easy to use. There is one problem, however, and
this is a problem with Firefox in general, and that is whenever Firefox is
upgraded, the upgrade may (and often does) break the Add-on. However, most
Add-on authors try to keep up with the upgrades and will upgrade the Add-on
quickly to work.

Doesn't happen. When clicked on, it just brings up Google, which is the
opening page set for it.
