TSGL: 2nd post CF adapter type 1 for Canon Pixma MP600

It seems that my Pixma MP600 Canon multi function photo printer will accept
an XD picture card only if inserted into a CF type 1 adapter, not type ll.

Problem is that none of the online USA vendors have type 1 available, not
even FUJI, Canon, or Olympus. This means that all my pix on the XD cards
cannot be direct-printed by my Pixma photo printer, even though they
advertised that it can. Canon support offers no solution.

Does anyone know of an available "Finepix DPC-CF type 1 adapter", new or
used? Perhaps there is an obscure retailer out there who doesn't get picked
up by the search engines?
