TSGL: Slave drive not seen

It's seen as a slave unit in BIOS, so I assume it's OK as far as BIOS is 
concerned.  The BIOS in this machine seems pretty basic, and I don't see 
any alternative settings which might affect HD's other than boot order. I 
can't see much in Advanced settings.

My UBCD doesn't have anything for WD drives, and I can't make much sense 
out of most of the other utilities on it----the disk management section 
seems to give little more than partitioning options.
