TSGL: Solve this one, if you can!

Ron & Ed,

Both of you are using gmail accounts. If you are reading your gmail
account with a local client (I.E. using the POP protocol to read the
gmail server with Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) you will not get your own mail.

Gmail, in its wisdom, sees that the message is "From" you and thinks
you've already seen it because you sent it so why could you possibly
want another copy of it.

This is only a problem is the From address is the same as your gmail
address AND if you're accessing your gmail account using a local e-mail
client. If you view your gmail account using your browser you should be
able to see all your messages.

This is a well known gmail "feature". Many folks have commented on it in
the gmail forums with many, many attempted work arounds. None that
involve only gmail work that I'm aware of, but there are some work
arounds if you have other e-mail accounts.
