TSGL: List of what to put on a new PC?

Just a note on Maxthon - it's now IE7 based, I believe. That being said, I
agree with its selection. It's my default/standard browser. One feature I
really like is that dragging a link with my mouse opens it in a new tab.

I also like Copernic, although I find their general search engine, Copernic
Agent professional, a wonderful tool as well.

This weekend I'm configuring a new-to-him Windows XP PC for my dad. I'm
hoping people can share their lists of what they put on a new PC when they
configure one. I know about the ususal stuff: Flash player, Winzip,
Quicktime, Firefox.

Anyone care to share their configuration lists?

  Thanks in advance.
