TSGL: Recycle Bin restored folder

>>> that updates folders that were used.<<< apparently taking incrementals. I do that
also, BUT I take a complete hard drive image every Sat morn. With the incrementals I can
roll forward from the restored image. Images, incrementals SHOULD/MUST be on another HD.
Not another Partition!! Another totally different HD.
Has saved my bacon more than once. Skype has a habit of freezing my machine and it won't
restart. I must totally restore each time. I don't lose a byte. Using Drive Image 7.0.
Still. Works perfectly.

Dear HBCanon -

One of my first recovery tries, after realizing my loss, was to recover from the backup.
NG, but here's why, and maybe there's a lesson here?

I do backups every two weeks that updates folders that were used. (I haven't used the My
Music folder in many months) It should have been there for easy pickings, but since I was
running out of back up space, I started to overwrite backups from the earliest dates. I
also do a complete system backup image of my computer every few months.

Therein lies the flaw. I overwrote the backup that would have contained MY MUSIC folder,
assuming that the folder would have been backed up in the newer backup.

Anyway, that's how it might have gotten into the Recycle Bin. It's water under the bridge.
