Have you tried both USB and PS2 keyboards? sometimes systems work with one
or the other depending on the system settings.
If you want to reset BIOS, take the battery out and leave the pc overnight.
Sometimes if you take the battery out and start the pc with no battery on
some systems it resets the bios.
Sometimes the motherboard will have a jumper setting that resets.
