TSGL: XP SP3

FWIW--With considerable trepidation after having problems installing
prior XP Service Paks, I installed XP SP3 on my HP laptop with AMD
processor several months ago and, much to my relief, it installed OK. I
hadn't heard there could be problems installing it with pc's running AMD
processors. Guess I was lucky.
Not so lucky trying to install the Vista SP1 on my desktop pc--it
installed but screwed up many of my drivers and caused other problems.
I had to uninstall the SP and do a system restore. I may try it again
later but not now.
