Here it wasn't a delay, it's just that I've been away for vacation.
Btw, I would try to change and maybe later again reset the location for
'user-options' !
And - what Alan meant was not exactly a 'repair installation', but rather
the 'repair' function in Word, from under the Help menue. It's easy to use,
but might ask for the CDs.
