TSGL: I Need Help With .ivr Files, Please

I had to install Real Player to be able to record live  camera feeds on 
eagles, ospreys, falcons, etc., while they're  nesting.  I don't know anything 
about Real Player and what I've taped is a  .ivr file which I've never heard of 
before.
Does anyone know how I might be able to change Real Player from  recording in 
.ivr or does anyone know of a program that can change the format to  a more 
universal format?  I need to be able to upload the recordings  to my group on 
Wavelit so that all the members can view  them.
I'm open for any advise as long as it's not too technically  difficult.
My OS:  Windows XP Media Center  Edition w/Service pack 3
