TSGL: MS SP1 for Vista--Anyone Else Having Problems??

Hi Lee,
your experiences are most interesting, to say the least, and certainly will
save a few guys' - errrh - bacon. Congratulations to getting througn the
scare of the uninstall process.
Most interesting for me is your disappointing result with the Netgear router
not working after SP1. I've got a netgear piece myself, fortunately without
SP1 on my Vista setup. One user more who'll wait some time, for sure.
As to the firewall, I've had severe problems with ZA lately on my (main) XP
machine, so I've abandoned it and since then am using the one that came with
XP. Additionally behind my router's firewall and ander strictest settings of
the Avira AntiVir Guard I don't feel like being endangered at all. Btw, if
I'm not mistaken, the Vista firewall is supposed to be a tad better than the
XP one, and should rise to the occasion, I believe.
