TSGL: Media player - Don

GOM would not work for me.
Finally VLC did
I know nothing about the directory; all I know is it plays movies,
and that's what I was after.

Me too. I've been having a misunderstanding with that MS player, and was 
wondering where and with what to replace it. Then came your thoughts about 
GOM.

I downloaded it and fooled around with it a bit. Seemed simple enough, but 
does it maintain an organized   Library like WMP? I hope better:)

Do you have any suggestions or caveats about GOM?  I'll be using it for my 
cell phone's MP3 player, and to download and convert personal music.
