Tilman,

You're very welcome.

No further research, but I just came across this link while surfing. It may
or may not be helpful.

Merna,

while I didn't expect anybody to saddle him/herself with extensive research,
I appreciate your endeavours. Thanks!

As you can imagine, I've done some research myself, and did tests with AM
Dead Link (who must have a great marketing guy in their team). The problem
with AM DL is that it only works with the full list of favorites (I'm
checking my ca. 3500 IE favorites), there's no access to single subfolders.
Meaning that I can't move selected & checked links somewhere else, which I
need to do. At least I haven't found a way ...
As to copying or moving links, this only works for single links, not
selected blocks..

In my case, it appears that possibly a third of all my links are
inaccessible (they are old too), so it's difficult to check them all at
once. In quite a few cases I want to find out about e.g. redirections that I
could use as a replacement, etc. Btw - I've got a lot of duplicates too.

Linkman looks like it might do what I want, otherwise it does MUCH more than
that, so could be overkill. But I'll check this out.

Finally, Bookmark Master looks like a newcomer in the market. I've tried it,
and may end up with using it since it allows bulk deleting or moving of
links.

Thanks again for your tips

Tilman
