TSGL: Firefox annoyances--is there an answer?

Don,

If, instead of letting the Mozilla Addon site install the extension, you
can download it and, in FF, go to <File - Open File> and browse to find
the '.xpi' in question. That will also start the installation process.

I have TabMixPlus set so that every single click opens in a new tab. But
that's me. There are many possible configurations. You get there by
<Tools - addons> select the extension and click on options.

Sorry to hear you're underwhelmed, I love the way I have my FF. There's
even an extension called 'TechSupportGuyForumsMenu{3.0}
<http://www.techguy.org/>' ...yep it's about this list's website. I
currently have 82 extensions installed, but I'm always looking for new
ones. I'll try to stifle my enthusiasm for now.
