TSGL: Firefox annoyances--another one

It always happens when I am in the midst of something. Everything freezes
until I answer the Firefox 2x pop up of updating add- ons. The choice is
skip or install. Beside the annoyance of the interruption, I am still trying
to get the 'fill in forms' to wok, so I make sure that is checked and tell
it to install. It doesn't happen, because I still can't get it to work.
Years ago, I used RoboForm, but it became cumbersome, so I let it die in a
reformat.
But I have been trying to get both, or rather either Google or Firefox form
filler to work.
Can some giving soul out there lend a helping hand, I mean a step-by-step
helping hand; I can't even find either template to fill out. Agh!
Thanks - ED
