TSGL: Firefox annoyances--is there an answer?

Hi Russ,
Yes, this is definitely a problem. The better known and most popular
Add-On's are updated pretty quickly and there are ways to override the
built in version number restriction that someone mentioned a few posts
back. And some Add-On's just die of neglect, never being updated because
the author lost interest. But, yes you are at the mercy of the author.
But, then again, Microsoft usually takes longer than the better Add-On
authors to fix their security holes.
